Hi friends,
Post-Sundance, I'm still seasonal job hunting. Has anyone heard of Florida Studio Theatre (in Sarasota), Barrington Stage Company (in Massachusetts, in the Birkshires), or have you any insight about Jacob's Pillow other than that it's a prestigious dance festival?
I'm lost in decision land, and I don't know enough about theater reputations.

Hi - I came across this blog while looking at Dr. Rushton's because I just got into your Arts Admin program. I am from the Berkshires and know people who know about how things are going at both Barrington Stage and Jacob's Pillow. Feel free to ask any questions if you need specifics. Barrington Stage is more in the up-and-coming category. Jacob's Pillow has a great reputation. I would also recommend looking into the Williamstown Theater Festival. My email is betsyware@gmail.com. Hellooo, darling! I did a couple of phone interviews with Jacob's pillow last year. The fact that they had "rounds" of interviews and detailed questions gave me the feeing that they were organized and professional, but I didn't end up taking it so that's all I know.
